I can see your point. But isn’t there good chance for it to back fire? Since it state that people resistance is becoming stronger even though they still don’t know the fate of their holy maiden or even her real face. Will such strong faint simply die down at the sight of their hope get trample on? I think at least some strong heads will form the group purely for revenge.

Oh… how did i forgot about these annoying characters from Western Empire? While both annoyingly persisted and obsessed over Mari, i guess Eastern Crown Prince is a little better in term of valuing people life. At least he not reguard his subjects like tools.
