      It’s not just about power, the mc has unique energy than can cut through energy like mana and the blessing. Plus he is still under the curses from his father which is likely the leader of the nebula since we saw the barron’s thoughts and the hair was white like irils. Which explains why the father wanted to block/curse/limit his son because his power is a counter to the nebulas blessing. I also dont like how you think that all mc’s should be overpowered at the start—ruins the opportunity of character development.
