She’s kinda married to him now, and she knows he likely will want to do more than kissing with her. It’s better for her to have her survival instincts kick in that make her like her captor than to suffer even more physically as she is mentally. Stockholm syndrome (which this somewhat feels like) is a survival instinct. If you play nice, you may be treated better, or at least not be beaten/attacked/treated quite as badly
