It’s silly that the demonic cult is somehow absolved of its evils just because they’re not as cartoonishly evil as the orthodox sects thought they were. They might not drink the blood of children, but they still kill hundreds of them every time they train up a fresh batch of warriors. Go re-read the first few chapters of this story and then try to tell me that this isn’t a cult of evil bastards. For them to talk about justice, they’re just as hypocritical as the orthodox sects.
It’s like the dumb romanticized notion that Spartans were great people… as long as you ignored the bodies piling up in their “misshapen child” dumpster.
