Well she IS a villainess when you think about it, and honestly her type of character is new and refreshing since it kinda portrays her as a real villainess unlike all the other villainess stories where MCs change the villainess into a good and kind person(not to say it’s a bad thing I like those stories too)
She’s honestly portraying a manipulative and passive villain that does things for her own benefit but is neither good or bad. Keep in mind that the title of the manhua has “Villainess” in it so of course there’s supposed to be aspects the about her that we the readers won’t like whether that be her attitude or arrogance.

The young duke believed in Eclis in the other time line because he saw Eclis capabilities. But now that you took Eclis, the Duke doest even care about him so why how could he knew Eclis ability to sponsor him? ??

Don’t get me wrong, I’m rooting for this girl to get her happy ending. But the bad attitude, or to say, laying attitude to Eclis will be her down fall. She is literally saying good things in his face but her inner emotions are different.
She treated this world as game when even though for her it’s a game, the characters are real in that world where she is currently at.
The game window is exclusively for her because the soul inside the. Body needs to do something for the story, but that doesn’t mean those. Characters she thought to be just “characters” can bleed and die.
She’s literally USING people to get what she wants and that will. Be her down fall soon.
She is clearly the MC of the Manhua but I. My eyes, somehow, she’s the villainess.

First, she’s just trying to survive. Second, yes, she tries to use Eclis, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t use her too. Also, the color of Eclis favorability, he’s just OBSESSED with her anyway, so I don’t think he can escalate 100% if it’s not pure love, because he resented and hated her way too much. And also, it’s MANHWA not MANHUA. Oh, and I think anyone in his shoes would want to survive and live a happy new life. Most people, compared to our female lead, would have made fun of Penelope’s past and would be a lot more cocky with all the characters just because they don’t know what it’s really like to have a tough childhood where you have been abused. AND, what’s wrong with people like you who only see heroes or villains. Sometimes they’re downright evil, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t allowed to have joy once in a lifetime when they were worth it. So I DO NOT agree with your opinion, even though you have every right to say so, because she DESERVES to be happy with the real ml (Callisto, the crown prince) and because she has already suffered too much in her first life. ❤️❤️❤️ I just hope she really sees them as a real person, that she can open up when the time is right, and that she can grow with the other mls and secondary characters.

Na.. that character she was in the game is the MC in this patch. The reason why she entered that body is because her real life is the same with the character and she can relate to her. I got the wrong term, she was confident in a conceited way and not trying to be a really good person. She is like, I’ll be good to you if you have something good for me relationship, not a genuine care.
But I do understand why because of her real life experience with her adoptive (!) Family.
