Yeah, I remember even in the novel, this part of Paul’2 inferiority and rejection was pretty frustrating cuz it drags on quite for a long time.

Because that’s her honorifics as a KNIGHT. In terms of chivalry it’s the proper way to address a knight. she likes being called that way instead of DAME because remember Pauliana doesn’t want to be regarded as a female exception among men.
