“Evil Emperor”/”Magic Emperor”/”Demonic Emperor” is a manhua, but a fantastic one. (I would say it’s in top 3 for my manhua’s together with “Tales of demons and gods” and “I’m really not the demon god lackeys”)
PS I liked “Way to be an evil emperor” too, but it didn’t to match for ruthless MC, because there MC is cunning, but good, so I didn’t recommend it.

Demon god lackey is so good too, we really have similar tastes. I love how the side characters are so important. Well, it’s hard for me to say, because I quite liked “Way To Be The Evil Emperor” from first chapters and don’t think the quality much changed later.
There are better and worse arcs, but overall it’s a main point of the story that MC is transferring between worlds and get skills which use in main world.
Characters in main world too don’t have much change in personalities, only relations between the characters change significantly, so if you didn’t like them before, probably you won’t be like them later.
When it comes to art style, it’s changing in some arcs.
