…This much is super cliché. There is almost one such scenario in every damn Chinese webnovel that exists. How could anyone NOT guess as much in this scenario? I have seen you on enough of these to be certain you know this is true.
It wouldn’t even be fair to me to reply properly because this is months ago for me. At this point I have definitely been past this.

It’s not my nerves that are the problem. The problem is how predictable they are. THAT is why I got it right.
Try reading more Chinese novels, so many of them are too similar. They have their gimmicks, but sacrifice situations almost always end up the same: MC gets hunted by some powerful nemesis while their teacher is absent, or the teacher protecting them is removed. Then some secondary guardian comes back to save the day, usually sacrificing themselves in the process. I have seen nearly that exact scenario at least a dozen times.
