I dont really wanna be a bitch and I might be wrong about it but, seeing as the emperor is kinda rigtheous(not some lecherous bastard), it is understandable that the queen despises her so. She was right beside the queen most of the time and to think that she allowed hersef to fancy the emperor even if he made advances onto her. Taking the queen’s pov, it would’ve been better if it’s anyone other than her VERY OWN maid. That’s a major disrespect to someone you are close to. I would hate the queen if mother was forced into submission but it doesn’t seem like that’s the case.
