Maybe becoz of past experiences but whenever a MC in these manhwas tries to be smug and cool looking, I feel like he would mess up in the next chapter.

Yeah, neverending feeling itself can make you feel exhausted mentally.
Like when i played Flappy Bird after a few months by luck I set a high score in the 200s but could never break that for a year.
Then i broke it but as i didn’t know where it ended, i was just tapping away at my screen feeling exhausted, coz i always want an end and not knowing whether there is an end or not was frustrating.

It would be nice to see the MC win this… and either continue being Lord of Crossroad… or even have his merits and accomplishments/achievements win him the throne of the empire. After having such a family, he deserves it. Honestly, would he even WANT to go back home, after all that he has gone through. I doubt after all this, he’d never be the same again.
