Because the goddess fell in love with Richard(the douche who kept our girl locked up in their precious life and took the goddess’ power) and Richard was in love with our FL and was just using the goddess but she could’ve left him at any time and chose to give him her powers and she literally couldve left that trash before giving up her powers cuz she knew that the douche didn’t like her and like our FL but didn’t leave him so she brought everything that’s happened to her on herself and I don’t pity her at all.

Well tell me if u r dying and u need blood urgently IMAGINE if they are arguing that instead of giving u blood first they have to fill a long form also u first have to give them money to get blood and other treatments wont that just hinder ur recovery and if in that time u die, will u still be willing to follow all those procedures? What i am trying to say is that if they can break his curse earlier by doing it them why let him suffer for more time and what will they do if something unexpected happen?
