I did read until chapter 50 (more chapters have yet to be updated) the FL’s (Regina’s) eyes look better and not creepy after chapter 19. The FL is too stuck up into the idea of the old novel and doesn’t adapt at all, the story gets better but her character growth is slow or stagnant. At least she becomes less weak and grows a bit of a spine, so bear with the first chapters, because the story is creative and there is room for many plottwists.
