   hmmm……..if it’s collecting souls then it could be something like a necromantic ability where it transfers power to the user based on the number of souls and the power of the souls consumed, but it may be a temporary or 1 time buff and that’s why the mystery lady said to use it only when it’s needed the most, because the ring might not last beyond a single use, or there may be bad side effects to using it.
