Does the main character get better? Because having a coward as a main character is never fun to watch. It is only ever ok when it ends fast but this guy is already strong so I don’t see that happening.

MC isn’t a coward, but just plain lazy. If you are forced to do something that you don’t like without anyone there to push you. It’d end up like this even if you had the ability to do everything. Everything becomes way too easy when you are too capable. When everything is too easy, you become lazy.

I tried reading it but the main character is just not that likeable and he does things that make no since. Why go recruiting if you don’t want anyone and why be a dick when you do let them join just to look for reasons to kick them out? Yea I just don’t like him.
