            So the baby….isn’t Soveshits, she was pregnant when they met up. It comes out that she is a slave, faked a lot of stuff. Whole paternity test is done. Once found out, she had effectively betrayed the kingdom so was sentenced to jail. She is then given a suicide pill and she takes it and dies. Soveshit ends up unconsolable due to his actions. He has a mental breakdown and his personality splits to that of when he was a kid. Kid version of his mind gets destroyed after learning all the actions he did against our FL. He just goes down a self depricating time. All the while, he is still a good emperoro. One thing even FL can admit that above all else, he is a good ruler. FL eventually has a kid, and its due to the mana bed she and ML sleep on, it healed her. Soveshit was killing himself bc as kids he had given her sweets that may have made her infertile and the guilt was always killing him. He finally meets their kid and he goes even more sad boi bc he looked at it and just thought of another life when they could have had one together. He is and will always be shit to me, but in some weird twisted way he did really love FL.

               Yeah agreed he will always been a shitty guy to me but you’re right he has some weird affection for her but I just wonder what happened that made him wander in the first place? It feels like he became so much different from when he was a kid as far as loving Navier… it almost feels like he was possessed or something, cause he seemed so into Navier as a child???

               I think he did and always truly loved her. His guilt over the cause of infertility ate at him. Mostly due to his love for her, as well as his duty as an emperor to produce an heir. He then wasn’t able to seperate her as an empress and her as a person he loves. Leading him to view her as solely part of the kingdom, his affair and “child” with trashta would fulfill his heir production, and thought FL as part of the kingdom would just take it. His idea to marry her again after the child is born, to make her empress was an “idea” (shitty one/cold one) to do right by her having taken away her ability to have a child and letting her do well/good for the kingdom. But, as we all know, FL is MORE than just a queen, she is a person with feelings and wants of love. So when she did eventually have a kid, and Soveshit found out, it utterly CRUSHED him. Because in his mind he was doing right by the kingdom AND her on some level, but knowing he could have had it all this entire time destroyed him. Rightfully so imo
