Someone said that Ari is an evil woman. Look at how she treat Arabella, is that how an evil woman act? Ari defends herself from her mother and sister who have done so many manipulative and evil deeds. Is she supposed to just stay still and do nothing when the same people harass her again after getting the second chance to live?

Ari was once evil, I agree. However, I said “is” (means at her current lifetime). Ari in her previous life did terrible things, yes. But what I see here is, she is genuinely a kind-hearted woman that just like other people, has potential to be good or bad. Her situations made her chose the wrong path (being treated as a dirty illegitimate daughter in her family, etc. + the feeling of suddenly being treated nice by Cesare that made her love him blindly in that harsh life of hers), which still cannot be justified, hence she is punished by the betrayal of her husband (Cesare) and sister. After the regression, she becomes aware that that bad husband isn’t worth to be followed and that his love for her was fake. She’s finally being herself, chooses to stand strong for her principles, and chooses to not falter again. However, the person I talked about in my first comment seems like labeling Ari as evil because of the previous chapter where Ari refused to cooperate with her mom 😓
And why did I say Ari isn’t evil because of her love for Arabella? Don’t forget that Arabella also despised her at first (and most probably in her past life), but Ari can think rationally that Arabella is still a child that is affected by the environment and doesn’t drown to hatred to Arabella. That is a sign of kindness. Did I say Ari being a saint? Nah, I never said that. But evil in her current life? Not either. She is not a saint nor an evil woman. For me, she is a normal human who can be bad and good, her judgement of something can be affected by the environment (in the previous life she became lost because of her inability to cope well with her calamity, but then after she learn that the calamity won’t end if she did bad things, she chose the different option)

Some people like to explain things in a long essay, just like me. We feel content by thinking that we don’t miss the detail. Yes, I’m not ashamed of it. And yes, I never said Ari is a saint or something like that. Honestly, the fact that this manhwa’s MC is not a saint-type of MC is one of the unique characteristics that it has. Sometimes it’s refreshing to read this kind of story (with not so good MC but still has a good side)

Ari is so strong and smart even in the past she was smart too . The only mistake she did in the past was falling in love with Cesare. Cesare is smart and cunning too . Like a sly fox . But I think he has more potential than Alfonso. Even if he is evil he can handle situation better. If he was a good person and loved Ari genuinely they could have made a strong couple. But he is trash . ( He is obsessed with what Alfonso has. I don’t think he actually love Ari) Alfonso is really good person and I really like him ( even Ari likes him) . But I feel Ari should be with someone else. A new strong ml is needed badly who has a lot of power and can empower the others. But I hope we’ll get a satisfied ending ( Ari 🤍🥺)

Ofc she is bad that’s what we like about her . Her personality is great and she is giving what others deserve. . If she becomes a good person what will be the difference among other manhwa and this one… Just enjoy the story don’t think too much. It’s not like any of them are bad the writer making them bad . Just enjoy cuties ( the plot)

Yes. I think that’s one of the key points of this manhwa. The author wants to make a MC with not-so-good personality. She looks more human than some other MCs with pure heart and no hatred kinds. She is not even evil in her current life, nor she is a saint, just like many other people who has kind heart but at the same time have a vengeful side when the same people keep harassing her. The point is she doesn’t want to harm innocent people again and even can look into the kind nature of some people (e.g., Arabella). She didn’t falsely accuse her mother, she exposed her mother’s wrong deeds because her mother keep harassing her. It’s ok to have different stories. It would be so boring if every isekai manhwas have similar MCs. As long as she becomes a better person, I think it’s ok
