I like this manhwa, but that part where the king being overly harsh and slapped cesare, and the queen ignoring him is too much, too forced to be dramatic just like other typical romance manhwa. It would be nice if Cesare’s bitter past is delivered more neatly. Unfriendly people in real life might just chase away the kid (the king), or if they want to portray him as a worse person, he might punish/slap Cesare in other place instead of in front of his baby son (and then saying this to the baby: oh you must be surprised). And the queen’s expression when ignoring the kid is too unrealistic. Walking away without even looking to the kid is more realistic.

But smiling to and comforting the baby after that like nothing happened to other child, and “you must have been shocked” despite the father being the one who made the commotion is (at least for me) too much. For me, it’s too forced and stiff, just to get the hint that Cesare’s past is sad.

So my conclusion here is that Cesare is obsessed with being the most desirable man, just like Isabella is, and when he is rejected by Aridne, he feels I sense of novelty and hunt desire, almost to the point of being masochistic, and wants her for himself. Like how he wanted Isabella in the past because he could have her, and she was regarded as the most beautiful.

Highkey rooting for Ceaser. Their chemistry is way better now. Better than obsessive crown prince. And before any y’all come at me for it I’d like to point–
1. Our FL is matured now and is not blinded by any love interest.
2. For someone who destroyed her whole life and the amount of trauma she received, she’s not avoiding him like a plague. (I was severely disappointed at her accepting Ceaser’s help, the impact would ve been great if she ‘I will never take your hand again even if it kills me’d her way out. This could’ve shown Ceaser’s severity of interest/intentions//if he really considered her worth//how mentally attached he was with her)
3.Ceaser is still wet behind the ears. He haven’t matured yet so he’ll be easier for our FL to manipulate and use.
4. Ceaser is NOT the main antagonist. Notice Fl is just mildly avoiding him while she’s zeroed in Isabelle.
In conclusion, Ceaser for the win.
**The crown prince is the real ml? I hope tf not. Even if she did end up with him then what? Punish Ceaser? Punish Isabelle? Become queen? That’s it??? I still have hope for this manhwa. Either make the crown prince a likable character or overthrow the kingdom with Ceaser and torture Isabelle.
