Please do. There’s a difference between a character who’s understanding, a character who has the “a dragon unconcerned with ants” trope, and a character who’s a pushover. He should have told her off multiple times. He just agrees with it while talking shit in his head. I wouldn’t have anything to do with her and her attitude. She’s going to see a friend, her friend can help take care of her meals. These aren’t strong women tropes. They’re just annoying and bratty.

I have started writing 2 stories myself, and none of them is MC’ed by a pushover, in fact my MC’s are fairly OP, but not ridiculously so, and are pretty smart, I kind of burnt myself as I wrote over 20 chapters of one in about a week, and hiatused it, real life caught up to me, work and other boring stuff that really ate up all my time, now, after almost 10 years, I want to re-start writing. tho they are in royalroad, you can check them if interested, one is called “The Gatriel Decebal Chronicles” and the other “The Celestial Blade”, still I’m an amateurish at best, wannabe beginner writer 😀
my point though with the MC’s that I wrote (outside of story and the likes) is that GROWTH IS NOT ABOUT GAINING STRENGTH, but about how life and the environment the characters are in, shape the way they behave and how they interact with the world at large.

This is getting lame. First the dude grinds from bottom to top in a mortal world while ignoring a harem.
Now his wife gets kidnapped so he comes to immortal world after allowing bunch of other noobs to come in as well by unlocking the stair/gate. Now he again starts grinding from bottom to top, pretty much the same amount of power just with different names and different energy, its more like a parallel world repetition of the first half. The only difference now is that he is starting to accept his harem. Soon he will get to the top and some other bs will happen and there would be another parallel world where he will be grinding again from bottom to the top and there I am pretty sure he will get married to all the ladies in his harem including his wife’s sister who is a tsundere apparently. After repeating this coupoe of times I suppose they will declare him the ruler of every world and a god or something. Too much cliche, wouldnt be that bad if the grinding in both the worlds had differences, its pretty much the same thing.
