I think it’s quite unfair if I just said it was boring without pointing out what parts that were so. But one thing that made it regretfully boring was the love triangle. Korean authors need to get out of this comfort zone really. There are many ways to create nice complicacy, but no. The author decided to use this overused trope. Second, what I’ve been observing is almost every historical manhwa with Joseon background and female MC uses forced tragedy. Like this is the formula and nothing can shake it. Use it or leave it. Jeez. And the MCs are either wishy washy or unstable. Or stupid or obnixious.
