I fucking hate how MC is being pushover to be someone disciple. Truly feels like reading trash martial art manhua which this event always occur. The powerful old man forced MC to he his student out of nowhere.
Beside that every other plot is also messy. Many action manhwa nowadays, only focused on fight scenes not the story. Yeah maybe for readers who shut down their brain and enjoying the fight can love this story. But for me who want a good story and greed of searching for masterpiece, this story feels bland, messy, and weird.
The idea of talent swallowing, skill copy, skill steal, ect, feels generic. I’m not saying the idea is not unique and good, It just that this story can’t even write a proper story that can make people like it for other reasons than that. Thats what we called generic story. A story written for the sake of trends and for the sake of making money for authors. Author who write a story for passion of creating masterpiece, will not do many cliche things in the story. And some even use the cliche as plot twist to make the story memorable.
This story are not like that.
If you just want to watch power fantasy with pure action but did not pay attention to the storytelling whatsoever, this is one of that kind of story.
This is opinions are written by me when latest chapter are 50. Maybe in future the things may change, but I doubt it.
