yes/no u dont need land to be a king but u usually do need a spouse be it a queen or princess etc its normally frowned upon for nobility to not be married and inherit a title altho it is harsher for queens than kings so kings can get away with it while few queens can (normally because men refused to obey queens in medieval era as men decided women were too stupid which made no real sense but eh)
