I actually used to like this, genuinely. No hate, but…I feel like the Female lead is a bit too overpowered. She has too many advantages, that the story becomes a bit ridiculous as if it’s created solely to make her look powerful, intelligent and amazing. Sure, she’s smart, and clever. But, she lacks many things and these are quite basic, hence making her seem annoying and arrogant. It’s been a while since I read it, but I’m just repeating the opinion I had when I dropped the Manhwa. I thought: She’s overpowered. She has a man (who’s, wow, so powerful and holds a high status). She has lots of people who would die for her, a (unbiological per se) sister who’d sacrifice ANYTHING just for her to notice, or even have a slight good impression of her.
While I can’t say anything of how I’d feel or do if I were in FL’s shoes, but if I were even the closest to her, I would not put the blame solely on the biological sister. She knew that that sister didn’t hate her, no ill intentions towards her, didn’t want to replace her, and even see her in incredible light. Respects her. But still. She placed the hate that should Shelley be on her mother in her… sister(?) as well. While she DOES deserve a bit of hatred, I don’t think that the sister deserves to be treated that way. If I were her (my opinion) I would probably try a bit to be acquaintances with her at the very least. Why try to create a new enemy?
Last complaint: fl isn’t the greatest person. She has a good reputation, but in the store she opened (cliché but oh well) she made sure she could be the only one to provided the source greatly required to use her inventions. Simply put: if her customers want to use her product, they have to buy resources that only come from her to use these products. Not fair, right? Basically; I wouldn’t call her selfish, but pathos isn’t the right way. She’s just thinking about earning money for herself, but what about the customers? It’s unrealistic; at this point if anyone finds out her reputation that was so hard earned will go crashing down. She doesn’t even have a back up plan- just pure confidence. Something to admire, but she makes so much more STUPID decisions (a bit like the store) that I even think how the HELL is she even the right female lead?
She’s intellIgent in books, otherwise she wouldn’t have gotten such a good reputation. But the decisions she make, isn’t so much.

Wouldn’t recommend, go read The villainess turns the hourglass, where you’ll see a proper villain, someone who ACTUSLLY uses their brain.
