Okay, first of all. I am not a hater of this trope, i like the captivity part, the parts where latio is trying to protect Hilna/Sienna, she and him deserve to be together. What i don’t like is the fact that the manwha seems to completely ignore the fact that everything she worked for, her whole life, has been thrown down the drain. Her achievements mean nothing, her acomplishments are now a disgrace and her comrades feel like she is a lying traitor, all because she hid her real gender. She has now lost everything and Latio points that out, not to console her, but to tell her that she should stay, even when she does not wish to do so. He uses what has happened to her, against her, the worst thing has happened and he takes advantage of it. Her gender should not be used against her by the male lead. I feel so gross now, reading about these two. It’s sad, because i relate to Latio, i’m a brown woman and i’ve lived my entire life as an outsider, in a prominently white country. I know what it’s like to be discriminated against. EVEN then, i don’t think what he is doing is right, he is using her disadvantages against her, which he caused by tearing he clothes off, and is keeping her hostage. AND HE’S FORCEFULLY KISSING HER. UGH I JUST CANT WITH HIM.
