I wonder if that expression Edan is making when he first meets Dorothea is because he was given another lease on life like Dorothea. Theon asked a similar thing about Dorothea’s expression before she ran away just like Edan did this chapter.
At first, I was wondering if there was actually a spirit of light sleeping within Dorothea. If it was, it gave her the second chance at life. But if Edan’s also come back this might not be the case

yknow itd be interesting if that when they grew up Raymond figured out that Dorothea should defs be next for the throne and attempted to give it to her. BUT she keeps refusing because of her past life memories and has to tackle her feelings about it regardless if she accepts the opportunity or not. I could see lots of angst coming out of this but im sure this isnt where the story is going since it’d distract from the current focus. imo it’d add a lot tho to her development. It’s like “what? she chose to be good and did nothing and STILL has the opportunity to rule?” now what?
