Plus i think the reason why the emperor is treating Robellia now differently from the previous one is cause he sees how ruthless she is (
referringto when she spent all that money earlier in the novel on clothes, slapped the dude for being a perv and other little notes that were earlier in the chapters) , like how he describes her in his head. He was captivated by her sudden change in attitude cause the other Robellia was a “keep in the lines” which bored him and made him seek Aisha (cause she was conniving witch behind her facade). He sees this new Robellia as interesting and colorful (as he describes) and not empty and almost more capable of leading the country with him in a ruthless way.Ofc not to defend what he did he is still an ass but i feel like this needed to be said to understand why he is prolonging the divorce announcement and acting strange (
