Thinking about it, it makes sense to not kill all of them because MC is using them to find elements, but now that he found elements if they are about to leave the secret world it would be best to kill them to not have any problems. Or if MC was able to consolidate everything and breakthrough Open Heaven realm before leaving secret world he’ll be stronger than them anyways so it’ll be fine too.

No, I don’t think so being that it’s the martial world were the one with the bigger fist is justice. So if I were the MC I would have said something like “oh being as old as you are how many people have you killed? Can you swear to heaven on your dao seal that you have never killed anyone in a similar situation?”
