So the problem is over expecting but she already exceptional. But I think the emperor just cant take or accept her cause of her wife dead.
Obviously now things changing because its author plot.

İt is not like that . It is actually very common thing , if you think all about is human mentality .
The emperor wanted to torment the princess because of queen’s death , He searched for a scape goat . So He can empty all of his anger/sadness The Princess was there , so she became the scape goat for everything .He know he can’t kill the Princess or literally torture her , so He attack her mentally . He take all his anger out of her . When princess trying her best , emperor got a reaction from her (you can say that emperor see this as a plea from princess) which emperor found annoying or completely satisfied because now He can see the reaction of the princess , He can literally punish/torment the princess for killing the Queen, or express his emotions much more easily from mentally abusing her (like sadness, bitterness etc.) , after princess showed sigh of jealousy/ agressiveness (the emperor further believe He was right and he is justified for tormenting the princess) But now princess stopped reacting and emperor can’t take such a satisfaction now . He begin to understand princess doesn’t care anymore which in return slowly make him stop doing his mental abuse to her , because there is nothing to gain from mental abuse if the victim doesn’t react .So emperor either gonna try to find another ways to continue to torment her or see if this is a act from princess’s side. Or third option ; it is gone be like runaways always get chased / you are gone understand of the importance of that thing when you lost that thing kind of situation …
İt is realistic , even in real life some bullies behave like emperor . So it is not a plot armor this time . İt is just a little cliche that’s all…

Why the fl become over emotional giel is she like this before? I know her background story, she act like a villain and literally kill anyone like a revenge but why the author changing her attitude. Hayyzz kinda dissapointed to the story
Her personality should be the likeable factor why the audience read this, but right now she looks like unwilling, no enthusiam, no confidence like before, i know she doesnt want to show off but why her personality change drastically.
