Won’t deny that. That’s good way to end the story. Still, if i were Lilian, i would still prefer to die alone. Karloi did show his sincerity, but his past actions and his foolishness are kind of hard to be forgiven. Also how he keep offer his death as atonement, it kidda become annoying as if a foolish mockery, cos his death will offer Lilian nothing, not even the peace of mind. So if i were Lilian, would rather have nothing to do with Karloi ever again and leave to end my life somewhere that remind me of old happy time with my mother.
But we all know how selfish Karloi is, he won’t let Lilian leave for sure.
